Aaron B. Wood

Dunn, NC:  Mr. Aaron B. Wood, age 86, of Jonesboro Road, passed away on Wednesday February 12, 2020 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn. Funeral Services will be 2:30 PM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Dunn Advent Christian Church in Dunn.  Officiating will be Rev. Mike Whitley. Burial will follow in Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn.                Mr. Wood was born on October 11, 1933 in Johnston County to the late Willie James and Nancy Beasley Wood. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Johnna Grabowski; brother, James Junior Wood. Mr. Wood retired as an auto mechanic and machinist. He attended Dunn Advent Christian Church.                Surviving include his wife of 63 years, Fleta Gold Penny Wood; children, Michael Aaron Wood and wife, Cynthia of Dunn, Anita W. Ellen of Dunn; grandchildren, Brett Pleasant and wife, Laura, Aubron Hardison Wood, Alyssa Courtney Ellen, Anderson Hughes Wood; two great-grandchildren, Kahlan Grabowski and Emma Grace Pleasant; sisters, Doris Barbour of Dunn, Mozelle Hardison of Benson; brothers, Bobby Wood of Erwin, Danny Wood of Dunn; several nieces and nephews.             The family will receive friends 1:00 PM - 2:15 PM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the church prior to the service and other times at the home of Danny and Gail Wood 56 Wordsworth Drive Dunn, NC 28334.             Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Dunn Advent Christian Church 700 East Pearsall Street Dunn, NC 28334.             Arrangements by Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC
