Adam Kempf

Coats, NC: Adam James Kempf, age 12, of 3524 NC Hwy 27 East died Thursday.  Funeral service will be 5:00PM Sunday at Coats Baptist Church.  Revs. Tom Austin and Devon Varnam will officiate. A graveside service will be 10:00AM Monday at Coats City Cemetery. Adam was born December 1, 1999 to Sharon Marsh Kempf of Coats and Joseph Karl Kempf, Sr., of Hoffman Estates, Ill.  He was a 7th grade student at Coats-Erwin Middle School. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are sisters, Eva Nichole Kempf of South Carolina and Pamela Kaye Kempf of Dunn; brothers, Geoffrey Porter Kempf of Coats and Joseph Karl Kempf, II of Ft. Hood, TX; paternal grandfather, Alvin Gustav Kempf of IL; paternal step-grandmother, Hilda Kempf of IL; niece, Venessa Marie Ortiz and nephew, Joseph Karl Kempf, III.
