Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Agnes Corinne Wooten Raynor, age 75, of Hwy. 301 S. died Monday, March 9, 2015 at her residence after a valiant five year battle with ovarian cancer. Funeral Services will be held 3:00PM Thursday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Revs. Ricky Byrd and Steve Ruberg. Burial will follow in Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Four Oaks.
Mrs. Raynor was born November 23, 1939 in Lenoir County to the late John Council and Rosa Lee Fordham Wooten. She was preceded in death by sister, Betty Lou Wooten Noble. Mrs. Raynor graduated from Jones Central High School and attended East Carolina University and graduated with a teaching degree. Upon her marriage to Ozzie Frank Raynor, they resided in Four Oaks. She began her teaching career at Four Oaks Elementary School where she taught for more than thirty years. She has been an active member of Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church.
Surviving include, husband of 53 years, Ozzie Frank Raynor; two children, Kimberly Raynor Sekulich and husband, Mike of Raleigh, Jonathan Raynor and wife, Sarah of Sarasota, FL; five grandchildren, Allie Sekulich, Nick Sekulich, Summer Sekulich, Zoe Raynor and Lucas Raynor; a sister, Annie Lee Moore of Kinston; niece, Cindy M. Shackelford of Kinston; nephew, J. Michael Moore of Tifton, GA; nephew, David Noble of Texas.
The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home from 1:30 to 2:30 prior to the service.
