Alease Benson

Benson, NC:  Mrs. Alease Stanley Benson, age 74, of 6850 NC Hwy 50 North died Saturday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. A Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Tuesday at Benson Grove Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Cashwell.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Benson was born April 16, 1937 in Johnston County to the late Blanie and Idona Stanley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, G. P. Benson, sister, Vernize Stanley Wise and a brother, Hallie B. Stanley. Mrs. Benson was a gardener, homemaker and member of Benson Grove Baptist Church. Surviving include her Sons & Daughters-In-Law, Gary Edward and Amy Benson, Perry Orbin and Denise Benson, Terry Preston and Connie Benson, and Warren Dean Benson, all of Benson; and Grandchildren & Spouses, Candace and Jason Vann, Cameron Benson, Brandon and Emily Benson, Courtney Benson, Bradley Benson, and Andrew Benson. One Great Grandson, Preston Scott Benson; Sisters, Opal S. Byrd of Four Oaks and Melvine S. Messer of Franklinton. Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday at Benson Grove Baptist Church, 6966 NC HWY 50 N, Benson, and at other times at the home.
