Alice Lee Parrish

Coats, NC: Mrs. Alice M. Lee Dixon Parrish, age 91, of 508 N. Orange Street, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by her loving daughter.  Graveside Funeral Service will be 2:00PM-Friday, December 29, 2023 at Williams Family Cemetery in Coats, NC.  Rev. Robbie O’Quinn will officiate.

Mrs. Parrish was born on December 14, 1932 in Johnston County, NC to the late James Albert Lee and Allene Benson Lee.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Paul Dixon, her second husband, James Edward Parrish, brother, Danny H. Lee, and her grandson, William Ray Coats.  Mrs. Parrish retired from Rose’s. She was an active member of the Coats Senior Center in Coats, NC.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim Dixon Coats, and partner, Michael Carroll of Coats, NC; great-grandsons, Dawson Coats Coker, and Lance Coats Coker; brother, James Wilson Lee of New Bern, NC; and sister, Bernice Lee Driver of Greensboro, NC; 6 step-children, and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 12:30PM-1:45PM, on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC, and other times at the home.
