Alice Turnage

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Alice F. Royal Turnage, age 70, of 2236 Allen’s Crossroads Rd died Friday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Unity Advent Christian Church. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Keene. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery Community Mausoleum. Mrs. Turnage was born April 3, 1941 in Johnston County to the late Coleman and Addie Pearl Royal. She was a teacher’s assistant at Meadow Elementary School for 10 years and a homemaker. Mrs. Turnage was a member of Unity Advent Christian Church. Surviving are husband of 51 years, J. W. Turnage; Daughters and Sons-In-Law, Angel and Dennis Lee of Newton Grove, Lisa and David Bass of Four Oaks; 3 Grandchildren, Justin Lee, Dillon Bass, Ashley Lee; Great-Granddaughter, Madison Faith Watson; Brother and Sister-In-Law, J. M. and Edna Royal of Dunn; Sisters and Brothers-In-Law, Linda M. and Staley Pope of Dunn, Ann and Derry Allen of Four Oaks; Several Nieces and Nephews. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday evening and other times at the home. Flowers are welcomed; however memorials may be made to Unity Advent Christian Church, 304 Unity Church Road, Four Oaks, NC  27524.
