Ann Avery Barefoot

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Ann Avery Barefoot, age 85, of US 701 South, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Piney Grove P.F.W.B. Church Cemetery in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Freddy Wayne Langston.

Mrs. Barefoot was born on December 30, 1935 in Harnett County to the late A.D. and Sally Ann Gaster Avery. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Summer Martini. Mrs. Barefoot retired from the civil service as Deputy Chief Base Contractor and attended Stewart’s Chapel P.F.W.B. Church.

Surviving include her husband of 41 years, Bobby Ray Barefoot; son, Andy Ray Martini of Cabot, AK; grandson, Brandon Martini; great-granddaughter, Hanna Martini; sister, Janice Autry of Dallas, Texas; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service and other times at the home.

In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Face coverings are not required, but are kindly recommended for all services.
