Annalean Johnson

Benson:  Mrs. Annalean McLamb Johnson, age 90, of 301 East Hill Street died Tuesday at her residence. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson.  Officiating will be Rev. Paul Burgess.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.             Mrs. Johnson was born on May 27, 1926 in Johnston County to the late Evander and Velma Holmes McLamb. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tom "T.E." Johnson, Jr.  Mrs. Johnson was the salutatorian of Benson High School Class of 1944 and was a graduate of  Meredith College. She taught business courses at Campbell College and Benson High School. Mrs. Johnson owned and operated McLamb's Fashions and served as bookkeeper for T.E. Johnson Lumber Company for many years. She was a member of the Benson Baptist Church.             Surviving are children, Lena J. Massengill & husband, Larry, of Benson, Karen J. Martin & husband, Stephen, of Atlanta, GA and Tom E. Johnson, III & wife, Diane, of Boston, MA; grandchildren, Heather M. Clifton & husband, Jimmy, Ryan Massengill, Thomas Massengill, Kelsey Martin Harkins & husband, Chad, and Kerry Martin; great grandchildren, Hannah Massengill, Savanah Clifton and Ashlynn  Massengill; and several nieces and nephews.             The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 9:30AM to 10:45AM Friday prior to the service.             Flowers are welcomed; however memorials may be made to Benson Baptist Church, P.O.
