Coats, NC:  Mrs. Annie Ruth Penny Stewart, age 93, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. Services for Mrs. Stewart will be private.             Mrs. Stewart was born October 26, 1925 in Johnston County to the late Archie E. and Ruth Stewart Penny. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Stewart, and step-mother, Rosa Edwards Penny. Mrs. Stewart was a homemaker and attended Coats Baptist Church.             Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Carolyn Messer and husband, Billy of Coats, NC, Jamone Johnson and husband, Ray of McGee's Crossroads, NC, Andy Mack Penny and wife, Denise of McGee's Crossroads, NC, and David Penny and wife, Pat of Benson, NC; and Tonya Stewart, of Coats, NC who was like a daughter.           Memorial donations may be made to Coats Baptist Church, PO Box 297, Coats, NC 27521           Online condolences may be expressed at www.roseandgraham.com            Arrangements by Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC.
