Barbara Keller

Dare County, NC:  Ms. Barbara Langdon Keller, age 75, formerly of Harnett County died Wednesday following an accident and brief stay at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A Graveside Service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn. Family will also host a celebration of life for Barbara to be held in Manteo on May 19th.              Barbara was born April 1, 1943 in Harnett County to the late Merchant and Estelle Parrish Langdon.  Ms. Keller, graduated from East Carolina University and taught school, before moving to Manteo, NC where she raised her family. There she was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church and later worked as real estate agent.             Barbara loved God, her family, a good adventure, gardening and time by or on the water.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend who offered words of encouragement and a warm hug to all she knew.  Few who knew her will forget her warm, welcoming smile and laughter that lit up the room.              Barbara is survived by her three daughters: Toni Perrone (and husband Bud) of Brooklyn, New York, Belinda Sukeena of Cary, and Gerri Ellington of Morganton; five grandchildren: Kanan Keller, Sam and Zeke Perrone, and Gabby and Danya Sukeena; and her brother, Clark Langdon of Angier, and many dearly-loved nephews, nieces, and cousins.  Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Michael Keller, and her brother Lacy Langdon.              Immediately following the service, the family will receive friends at the home of Myra Langdon, 2573 Johnston County Road, Angier, NC.             Flowers are welcome or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethel Primitive Baptist Church and Cemetery Association, P.O.
