Barbara Holmes Medlin

Benson, NC: Mrs. Barbara Holmes Medlin, age 70, of Federal Road passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held-3:00 Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. 

Mrs. Medlin was born on October 19, 1953 in Harnett County to the late Howard and Jewell Holland Holmes. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her fiancé, Steve Massengill. She retired from the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles where she was an accountant. Mrs. Medlin loved the beach and enjoyed talking and spending time with her friends and family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. 

Surviving includes her son, Eric Barbour and wife, Judith; grandson, Jordan Barbour; sister, Lou Simms; and niece, Logan Mcilwain. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
