Becky Baker Jordan, a beloved homemaker and devoted farmer's wife, passed away peacefully at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh on January 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 10, 1949, in Johnston County, Becky touched the lives of everyone she met with her friendly and caring nature. The Jordan Family will be holding private services.

Throughout her life, Becky never saw a stranger. She welcomed all with open arms and made a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her giving spirit extended far beyond her immediate family, as she cherished her community and the animals she loved deeply. Becky found joy in the simple pleasures of life—cooking delicious meals, immersing herself in books, and tending lovingly to her garden. Each of these activities was a testament to her nurturing character, whether she was preparing a feast for family gatherings or cultivating the beauty of her plants.

As a proud mother and grandmother, Becky's greatest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. She instilled in them the values of kindness, compassion, and the importance of family. She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Penny Jordan Gower, and her husband, Jeff, as well as her granddaughters, Emily Bass and her, husband Kyle, and Elizabeth Knudtson and her, husband Brandan. The joys of being a great-grandmother brought immense pride to Becky, and she adored her great-grandchildren—Connor Davis, Layla Jarmula, and Grace Knudtson—who were the light of her life.

Becky is predeceased by her loving parents, Roy Vaden and Betty Allen Baker, her husband, James "Jimmy" Jordan, and her dear sister, Opal Jean Parrish. They, along with many others who knew her warmth and generosity, welcomed her home.

In every dish she cooked, every flower she nurtured, and every passing smile to a stranger, Becky Jordan leaves an indelible mark of love and kindness in the hearts of her family and friends. Her spirit will forever remain a guiding light in their lives, an enduring legacy that will be celebrated for generations to come.
