Benjamin Brau

Benson, NC:  Mr. Benjamin Brau, age 28, of 894 Grace Road, died Thursday, October 17, 2019 in Smithfield.  Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM  Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Elevation United Methodist Church outside of Benson.  Officiating will be Dr. Reginald Ponder.             Mr. Brau was born August 27, 1991 in Johnston County to Max Brau and Amy Holley Brau.  He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leroy Holley and paternal grandmother, Lana DeSoto.  Mr. Brau had worked for All My Sons Moving.             Surviving in addition to his parents; are wife, Brittany Barnes Brau; sister, Anna Elizabeth Brau of Benson; maternal grandmother, Ellen Holley of Smithfield; paternal step-grandfather, Al DeSoto of Clayton; paternal grandfather and wife, Max and Maria Smith of Phoenix, AZ; special uncle, Eugene Holley of Benson; and special pet, Jazmyn.             The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home of Max and Amy Brau, 866 Grace Road, Benson, NC  27504.             In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.              Arrangements are by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
