McGee’s Crossroads:  Mrs. Betty Cobb Godwin, age 77, of 432 Old Lee Road died Thursday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Saturday at Elevation United Methodist Church.  Rev. Barry Barbour will officiate.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.               Mrs. Godwin was born October 10, 1933 in Johnston County to the late Everette and Ethel Morgan Cobb.  She was also preceded in death by husband, James L. Godwin, and granddaughter, Melissa Godwin.  Mrs. Godwin was a homemaker, a child care provider, and a member of Elevation United Methodist Church.              Surviving include Daughter, Sue Godwin of Willow Spring; Sons, Travis Godwin and Wife, Teresa, of Coats; and Max Godwin and Fiancée, Tammy Moore, of Benson; Granddaughter, Samantha Godwin of Garner; Sister & Brother-in-law, Retha & Mel Noles of Benson; Brother & Sister-in-law, Earl & Margie Cobb of Benson; and Several Nephews.             Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday.
