Betty Geraldine Jones

Four Oaks, NC: Although Geraldine Dupree Jones may have left us, one thing that never will is her boundless love. Geraldine, or as she was more affectionately known by those in her life, Mema, left our world on the afternoon of Sunday, November 24th, 2024 at the age of 90. Memorial Services will be 1:00PM Friday, November 29, 2024 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be her son, Al Jones. 

 Geraldine led a long and fruitful life spanning 10 different decades, and she made sure that each of them were filled with love, warmth, and laughter for all those who knew her. Whether kin, friend, or stranger, Mema loved everybody and made sure they knew it. All who met her could speak volumes of her endless font of love and care, most could speak of her unending dedication to her family her whole life long, and a lucky bunch could even speak of her unmatched skill in the kitchen. She leaves us now to be with her parents, Johnny and Lottie Dupree, her four late sisters Allene Crabtree, Laura Woodell, Doris Raper, and Norma Jones, and her loving husband Jacob Arthur Jones Jr. Surviving her are her younger sister Patricia Byrd, her three children Donna Regan (Tim), William Alex Jones (Wendy), and Kelly Powell (Robbie), daughter-in-law Sharon, as well as the four grandchildren she was Mema to for their entire lives: Meagan Jones, Jessica Jones, Alexandria Jones, and Jacob Barbour, and in addition Hattie Jo Powell, Matt Regan (Megan), and 2 great children-Austin and Adalyn.  

The family will receive friends after the memorial service.
