Betty Parker

Dunn, NC: Mrs. Betty Pate Parker, age 69, of 10 Wise Road died Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Sunday, November 13, 2011, at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Summers. Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Parker was born October 9, 1942 in Lenoir County to the late Henry Marshall and Delia Lewis Pate. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Pate. Mrs. Parker had retired as the credit manager at Stock Building Supply Company. She was a member of Holly Grove Advent Christian Church. Surviving include her Husband, Dallas Parker; Children & Spouses, Lynn Rogers Hutaff of Clayton, Shelton, Jr. & Danette Rogers of Dunn, Jeffrey & Jean Parker of Clayton, and Kelly & Fred Milefski of Fayetteville; Step-Children & Spouses, David Parker of Benson, Denise & Mike House of Clayton, and Donna & Derick Tevebaugh of Enterprise, Al.; Sister & Brother-In-Law, Annette & James Smith of Goldsboro; Fourteen Grandchildren; Five Great Grandchildren; and several Nieces & Nephews. The family will receive friends at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church immediately following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Johnston County Unit, P. O. Box 1544, Smithfield, NC  27577 or Rwanda and Company, 548 Lane Road, Dunn, NC  28334.
