Betty Helen Parker

Angier, NC:  Mrs. Betty Helen Parker, age 80, of 2374 Massengill Pond Rd died Thursday at the home of her granddaughter. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Monday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Coats.  Officiating will be Rev. Tony Thompson. Burial will follow in the Stone Family Cemetery, Coats.                    Mrs. Parker was born August 13, 1936 in Harnett County to the late Tom and Bessie Moore Stone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Eldridge Parker; daughter, Betty Jo Williamson; son, William Eldridge Parker; sisters, Lillie Mae Childers, Nancy Stone Parker; brother, Layton Stone. Mrs. Parker was retired from Terry Hill as a seamstress and was a member of Greater Vision Fellowship Church.              Surviving are son, Donald Ray Parker of Linden; grandchildren, Michelle Yarbrough and husband, Michael, Laura Jessup and husband, David, Beth Stephens and husband, Brian, Jennifer Page and husband, David, Marsha Ammons and husband, Shane, Elizabeth Thompson and husband, Tony, Joey Williamson and fiancé, Jennifer Ennis, Josh Parker and wife, Rebecca; 26 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Strickland of Benson, Myrtle Wiggins of Angier; and several nieces and nephews.                 The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats from 1:30PM to 2:30PM prior to the service and other times at the home of Helen Thompson, 106 Happy Trails Drive Angier, NC 27501.             Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society 8300 Health Park Suite 10 Raleigh, NC 27615.
