Bobby Ray Harper, Sr.

Mr. Bobby Ray Harper, Sr., 70, of Princeton, NC, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at Johnston Health Center in Smithfield. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Burial will follow at Four Oaks Cemetery, Four Oaks.      Mr. Harper was born on April 23, 1942 in Johnston County to the late Birdie H. Harper. He worked as a sheet rocker in residential and commercial construction and was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Jones Harper and an infant daughter.      He is survived by his sons, Bobby Ray Harper, Jr. and wife, Valerie, of Smithfield NC, Kenneth Michael Harper of Selma, NC and Chris S. Harper and wife, Amber, of Princeton, NC;  Sister, Mabeline Harper of Sanford, NC;  six grandchildren and two great grandchildren..       Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday September 21, 2012 and other times at the home of Chris Harper 119 Herring Rd Princeton, NC 27569.
