Angier, NC: Mr. Braxton Earl Barbour, age, 83 of 2597 Zack's Mill Road, died Monday at Liberty Commons. Graveside Funeral Service will be 3:00PM-Thursday at Fellowship Community Cemetery in Angier. Officiating will be Revs. Billy Cashwell and Randy Beasley.
Mr. Barbour was born April 6, 1932 in Wake County to the late Charlie Braxton and Betty Margaret Roberts Barbour. He was also preceded in death by son, Kenneth A. Barbour and brothers, Raymond Barbour and Merlin Barbour. Mr. Barbour was the retired owner of Barbour's Bait Shop and was a member of Benson Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving include wife of 63 years, Lorene Coats Barbour, daughter, Jeanette Lamm of Lucama; sons, Braxton Earl Barbour, Jr. of Smithfield; and Terry Lynn Barbour of Angier; brother, Tommy Barbour of Willow Spring; sister, Dorothy Stephenson of Angier; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 1:30PM-2:30PM Thursday prior to the graveside service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
