Bruce Wayne Lee

Bruce Wayne Lee passed unexpectedly at his home in Four Oaks, NC on
September 13, 2024.
He was born September 9, 1949 to Harvey and Mildred (Barefoot) Lee. He was a lifelong resident of Four Oaks, NC, on the family farm. He graduated from Four Oaks High School in 1967 and had a career as a Truck Driver and a Farmer.
He leaves behind 2 beloved daughters: Kimberly McKaig (w/ husband Michael McKaig) and Jennifer Hudson. He had five beloved grandchildren: Cody, Olivia, Genevieve, Moses, and Vivian.
He also leaves behind his younger brother Ricky A. Lee and his children, as well as several beloved cousins, friends, and neighbors who were also very dear to him and really loved him well.
Bruce cherished his daughters and grandchildren above all else and held them all close to his heart. He also deeply cherished and loved his friends, neighbors and community, and deeply appreciated all the ways they loved and served and supported him throughout his life.
His quick wit, candor, funny stories and amazing way with words will be missed. He was a character, to be sure… One of a Kind. Some might even say a Legend.

He will be laid to rest at a private, quaint ceremony in the family graveyard on the family farm.
