Carl Wade Adams

Clayton, NC: Mr. Carl Wade Adams, age 74, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at his residence. Memorial Graveside Services will be held 11:00AM-Friday, October 14, 2022 at Oakland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 8927 Cleveland Road, Clayton, NC 27520.  Rev. Debbie Osterhoudt, Mr. Jimmy Boykin and Rev. Gene Worley will officiate.

Mr. Adams was born on March 15, 1948 in Johnston County, NC to the late Clarence “Bud” and Mildred Dupree Adams.  Mr. Adams retired from the North Carolina DMV as a driver’s license examiner.  He was a member of Oakland Presbyterian Church, Clayton, NC.  He loved his family, church family, and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Shelia Wallace Adams; son, Randy Adams, grandchildren, Storm Adams and Lexi Adams; sister, Glenda Worley; several nieces and nephews; special grand dogs, Hazel and Dolly.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM-10:45AM, Friday, October 14, 2022 at Oakland Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, Clayton, NC.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials in memory of Mr. Adams be sent to Oakland Presbyterian Church 8927 Cleveland Road, Clayton, NC 27520.
