Carl Edwards

Angier, NC: Mr. Carl Glenn Edwards, age 71, of 2634 Harnett Central Road died Monday at his residence. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Thursday at the Coats Christ Fellowship Church. Officiating will be Rev. Erfie Hayes. Burial will follow in the Byrd Family Cemetery.  Mr. Edwards was born May 4, 1940 in Alabama to the late Floyd Edwards and Mary Jane Cowart Roberson. He was a commercial contractor and builder. Mr. Edwards attended Coats Christ Fellowship Church in Coats. Surviving include his Wife of 47 years, Rachel Hamilton Edwards; Son, Barry Steven Edwards of Lillington; Daughters, Karen Sue Lambert of Holly Springs, and Carol Lee McDonald of Lillington; Brothers, Troy Roberson of Angier, and Mack Roberson of Hayes; Sister, Martha Jane Miller of Hope Mills; Six Grandchildren, and Five Great Grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday.
