Carl B. Langdon

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Carl B. Langdon, age 90, of Lassiter Road, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held-11:00 AM Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Clement Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Four Oaks, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Jack Stone. 

Mr. Langdon was born on September 6, 1933 in Johnston County to the late, Paul H. and Sallie Byrd Langdon. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Johnson Langdon and his brothers, Hampton Langdon, Thel Langdon, and Donald Langdon. Mr. Langdon was a lifelong farmer and member of the Four Oaks Community. He was a smart businessman who had a passion for the land he worked and was a mentor to the next generations of farmers. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and friend. 

Survivors include his son, Carl B. Langdon, Jr. and wife, Amanda; daughter, Melissa Langdon and husband, Ken Spector; grandson, Paul Everette Langdon; sister-in-law, Jean Langdon; and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
