Carol Kuske

Coats, NC:   Mrs. Carol Ann Langley Kuske, age 71, of  Bill Avery Road died Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at her residence.  Visitation will be Sunday, August 26, 2018, 2:00PM-7:00PM at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, Indiana 46323. Graveside Service will be 12:00 noon Thursday, August 30, 2018 at The Sandhill State Veterans Cemetery in Ft. Bragg, NC.               Mrs. Kuske was born October 27, 1946 in Lake County, Indiana to the late George Frederick and Madge Barnett Langley. She was also preceded in death by her son, Barry T. Kuske and brother, George A. Langley.  Mrs. Kuske graduated high school at Thornton Fractional North in Calumet, Illinois and was a receptionist.  She enjoyed planting flowers, baking, traveling to beaches and casinos, quilting, caring for children, collecting Campbell Soup figures, toys, stuffed animals and "shopping".             Mrs. Kuske married her husband, July 25, 1964 and became a military spouse for nearly twenty years. She raised two wonderful sons, while juggling constant movements around the world and maintaining a loving family home before her husband retired from the US Army in October, 1981. She continued raising her sons and grandsons in Manassas, VA, before retiring and moving to Coats, NC in 2005 after the loss of her oldest son to cancer.            Survivors include husband of 54 years, Thomas F. Kuske ; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth A. and Michelle Kuske of Enfield, NH; daughter-in-law, Phillis Kuske of Lafayette, LA; grandsons and spouse, Evan T. and Kayleigh Kuske of Lafayette, LA, Xavier G. Kuske and Daniel B. Kuske both of Dale City, VA; brothers and sisters- in-law; Fred A. and Carole Langley of Boone Grove, IN and Larry and Jeanette Langley of Hammond, IN, Fran Langley of Palm Coast, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Ronald Vollbrecht of Homer Glen, IL; several nieces and nephews and stepmother, Winona Langley of Yreka, CA.             Arrangements by Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC and Bocken Funeral Home in Hammond, IN.
