Carol Phair Van Nostrand

Smithfield, NC:  Mrs. Carol Phair Van Nostrand, age 74, of Pinecrest Street, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 14 at 1:30pm at the Rose & Graham Chapel in Four Oaks.  Father Peter Grace will be officiating.

          Mrs. Van Nostrand was born on February 22, 1948 in Queen’s, New York to the late James Joseph and Mersadis Berg Phair.  Mrs. Van Nostrand was a homemaker.  

            Surviving include her husband of 54 years, Robert M. Van Nostrand,Sr.; children, Robert M., Jr. and wife, Judy of Clayton, Janine V. Rosato of New York, Lorraine V. Chesney and husband, Kevin of Lecanto, Fl., and Eric W. Hissiger, and wife, Melissa of Fuquay Varina; grandchildren, Nicole, Christopher, Danielle, Philip, Peter, Kevin James, Tristan and Joseph; great granddaughter, Marissa.

          The family will greet friends after the service.
