Catherine "Cathy" Poole Wade

Coats, NC: Mrs. Catherine "Cathy" Poole Wade, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM-Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Coats, NC. Rev. Jerome Pope will officiate. Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park in Erwin, NC.

Cathy was born on July 3, 1959 in Harnett County, NC to Lorene Beasley Poole of Coats, NC and the late Walter Eldon Poole. For several years, Cathy worked in the Financial Aid Office at Campbell University and retired as a bank teller with First Federal Bank. She was also a homemaker.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Kevin Wade; brother, Davis Lane Coats and wife, Marcia, and a sister, Sharon Poole Thornton and husband, Lynwood; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:30PM-2:45PM, Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC.
