Catherine Renee Hayes

Mrs. Catherine Renee Taylor Hayes, age 50, of 105 JJ Drive, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM-Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Blackman’s Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Dunn, NC. Officiating will be Pastors Ricky Lee and Greg Tart. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hayes was born on December 11, 1970 in Cumberland County to Ronnie Clayton and Ora Jean Denning Taylor. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Nathan Charlie and Hattie Louise Barefoot Denning and her paternal grandparents, Rossie and Catherine Zola Taylor. Throughout her career, Mrs. Hayes worked in billing both at Charles Tart Propane, Inc. and Benson Health. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and friend.

Surviving include her husband, Rodney Hayes; mother, Jean Taylor; son, Garrett Wayne Rhodes; daughter, Lesley Jean Rhodes; step son, Hunter Hayes; step daughter, Cassidy Hayes; grandchildren, Aubrey Jean Dungan, Laysen Strickland, River Daley, Cotton Lee Hayes, and Reece Stevens; sister, Beverly Taylor and Kris Lindsay; brother, Ronnie Taylor, Jr. and Nicky Hall; nephews, Ross Taylor and Hunter Hall; and best friends, Dana and Travis Parker.

The family will receive friends 12:30-1:30 PM prior to the service at Blackman’s Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church and other times at the home.
Flowers are welcome; however, memorials may be made to JoCo Angels at 3836 Merilee Court, Wade, NC 28395.

She will be missed by her family and friends.
