Cecelia Cagle

Benson, NC: Mrs. Cecelia Farlow Cagle, age 93, of 501 West Woodall Street died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at the Benson Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Royal. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Cagle was born October 6, 1918 in Randolph County to the late Cecil and Mabel Lowe Farlow. She was also preceded in death by her Husband, John Creech Cagle, and a Granddaughter, Joan Marie Cagle. Mrs. Cagle was a homemaker, a member of the Benson Baptist Church, and a member of the Lou Parrish Chapter of the Eastern Star. Surviving include Children, Neil Creech Cagle and Wife, Amelia, of Marrero, LA.; Daughter, Sheila C. Jones of Benson; Grandchildren, Amy C. Scannell and Husband, Mark, of Fayetteville, and John Graham Cagle, and Wife, Cara, of London, England; Great Grandchildren, Naomi and Kaela Scannell; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall from 10:00AM to 10:45AM Tuesday prior to the service. Flowers are welcomed; however memorials may be made to Benson Baptist Church, P. O. Box 323, Benson, NC  27504, or to one’s favorite charity.
