Mr. Charles Richard "Charlie" Lejambre, loving husband, beloved son and cherished friend passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the age of 63.
Charlie was born in Trenton, New Jersey on June 17, 1956 to Margaret Borden Lejambre and the late Charles Lejambre. He spent most of his life in Connecticut where he excelled at a career in Aerospace Engineering before retiring with his wife to North Carolina in 2017.
Charlie received his pilot's license at the age of 15 and has enjoyed flying his beloved Twin Bonanza to many destinations across the U.S. He was also an avid golfer, an excellent airplane and auto mechanic and sports car enthusiast. Charlie was a remarkable man who was a blessing to all who knew him. Charlie received a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a MS degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer’s Polytechnic Institute. He will be truly missed.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Cynthia Lee Wood; aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. A Celebration of His Life will be announced at a later date.
