Coats, NC: Mr. Charles “Charlie” Allen McLamb, age 70, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Tuesday, June 25 at 11:00AM at Red Hill PFWB Church, Coats.  Rev. Kim Strickland will be officiating.  Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens in Dunn. 

Charlie was born on April 15, 1954 in Harnett County to the late Diamond Allen “D.A.” McLamb and Mary Lou Jackson McLamb. Along with his parents Charlie was preceded in death by his siblings, Danny McLamb, Diane Blackman and Debbie Jones. Charlie was a retired maintenance technician from DTH Management. Charlie loved to travel to car shows looking at all the restored cars. Charlie loved his family, but his greatest joy was his granddaughter that was named after him. 

Surviving includes his wife of 50 years, Brenda Westbrook McLamb; son, Jeremy McLamb and wife, Beth; daughter, Kristy McLamb Beasley, and fiancé, Travis Penny; granddaughter, Charley LaRue Beasley; and special sister-in-law Carol Westbrook.

Flowers are welcome but donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses as well. 

The family will greet friends after the committal service at the graveside.
