Charles "Charlie" Hughes

Benson, NC: Mr. Charles “Charlie” Edward Hughes, age 62, of 500 East Moore Street, Apt. 310, died Friday, November 8, 2013, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00PM Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. Officiating will be Rev. Bobby Caudle.      Mr. Hughes was born October 12, 1951 in Harnett County to Vivian Hughes Harper of Benson and the late Donnie Edward Harper.  He was a residential painter.      Surviving, in addition to his mother, are Daughter & Son-In-Law, Amanda Vivian & Eddie Smith of Brandon, FL; sisters, Doris Jean Harper of Coats, Helen Marie Pruitt of Benson, and Dianne Carol Parrish of Benson; grandchildren, Katelyn and Dylan Smith; nieces, Leslie and Debbie; and nephews, Tommy, Jason, and Matthew.                                                                                                                                  The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 12:30PM to 1:30PM Sunday prior to the service.
