Dunn, NC: Mr. Charles Milton Lee, age 92, died Monday, January 9, 2017, which was his 71st Wedding Anniversary at the NC State Veterans Nursing Home in Fayetteville. Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Thursday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. Curtiss Tatum and Kelvin Blackmon. Burial will follow in Hodges Chapel Church Cemetery.
Mr. Lee was born May 10, 1924 in Johnston County to the late William Henry, Sr. and Spicy Roena Lee. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Mae Stewart Lee; brothers, William H. Lee, Jr. and Joseph Allen Lee. Mr. Lee retired from Pine State Milk Company with 30 years of service. He also owned and operated Lee's Sharpening Service. Mr. Lee was a US Navy Veteran, member of American Legion Banner Post 109 for 62 years and also a member of Hodges Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving include daughter and son-in-law, Brenda L. and Charlie Seaburg of Garner; granddaughter Heather S. and husband, Jeremy Massengill of Garner; great-granddaughter, Maylee Massengill and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Brenda L. Seaburg, 29 Ashcroft Court, Garner, NC 27529.
