Chester Willard "Bill" Tart

Benson, NC:  Mr. Chester Willard "Bill" Tart, age 78, of 1229 D Benson Hardee Road died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Barbour Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Smithfield.  Graveside Service will be 11:00AM Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Banner Chapel Church Cemetery in Benson.  Officiating will be Rev. Steven Campbell.             Mr. Tart was born November 1, 1940 in Johnston County to the late Chester Hawkins and Pearl T. Tart. Mr. Tart retired from Babcock Phillips Manufacturing.             Surviving include his wife of 34 years, Charlotte Hudson Tart; step-children, Terry Wayne Owens  and Michael Wayne Owens both of Doswell, VA; six step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.             The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the graveside service and other times at the home.              Arrangements by Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
