Clarence Colan Baker

Coats, NC:  Mr. Clarence Colan Baker, age 76, died Friday, October 4, 2019 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM  Monday, October 7, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson.  Officiating will be Rev. Kenneth Boyd and Rev. Hollis Fedrick.  Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park in Erwin.             Mr. Baker was born September 30, 1943 in Harnett County to the late Hubert C. Baker and Rev. Agnes Barefoot Baker Douglas.  He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Baker. Mr. Baker was a retired farmer and attended Coats Church of God.             Surviving include his children, Crystal Baker Lane and husband, Jeff  of Dunn and Duane Baker of Godwin; grandchildren, Amy, Tonya, Earley, Garrett and Mary Beth;  brother, Dolan Baker & wife, Teresa of Princeton; niece, Jenny Roberts of Raleigh and nephew, J.D. Baker of Goldsboro.             The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM Monday prior to the service.             Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be to SECU House, P.O.
