Clarence "Junior" Stanley, Jr.

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Clarence Stanley Jr,” Junior”, age 76, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at UNC Johnston Health Center in Smithfield. Funeral Services will be held 3:00PM, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks, NC. Rev. Jesse Brock will officiate. Burial will follow in the Burnell Baptist Church Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC. Mr. Stanley was born on November 8, 1944 in Johnston County to the late Clarence Eldridge and Aileen Knuckles Stanley. He was also preceded in death by his grandsons, Samuel Austin Williams and Danuel Augustus Williams, and his brothers, Glenn Stanley, Ray Stanley, and Lawrence Stanley. He retired from Charles Cabinet Shop in Four Oaks and loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Stanley was a loving husband, daddy and grandpa. Surviving include his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Faye Stanley; children, Timmy Dean Stanley and wife, Teresa; and April Gwen Stanley; grandchildren, Brandon Stanley and wife, Maria; Nicholas Stanley; and Mathew Hall and wife, Brittany; great-grandchildren, Mason Hall, Aubrey Hall and Adrianna Mendoza Stanley; sister, Faye Stanley and husband, Wayne; brother, Charles Stanley; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 1:30PM-2:30PM, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home. Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be sent to the Ronald McDonald House, 506 Alexander Drive, Durham, NC 27705. In Accordance with NC-COVID -19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Masks are required for all services.
