Cody Wheary

Cody Wade Wheary, age 25, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021.  A Memorial Service will be held 2:00-PM, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC.  Rev. Ken Dalton will officiate.              Cody was born on January 10, 1996 in San Diego County, California. He worked with Recovery Logistics in Apex, NC. He enjoyed fishing and long boarding.  Cody was deeply loved by all his friends and family.             Surviving include his grandparents Pop and Nana, Ken and Jan Phillips; grandmother, Lillian Talton; sisters, Cassidy Phillips, Jodi Ellis, Cheyenne Wheary; brother, Kenny Fowler; nephews, Cason Kirsch, Jonathan Ellis and a niece, Ava Ellis.             The family will receive friends following the memorial service.             Memorials may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis Tennessee, 38101.                     In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
