Daisy McLamb

Benson, NC:  Mrs. Daisy Irene Allen McLamb age 85 of 506 E. Parrish Dr. died Friday at the State Employee’s Credit Union Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Monday at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church. Officiating will be Revs. Glenn Fell, Sam Worley, and Randy Lucas. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. McLamb was born December 5, 1925 in Johnston County to the late Joseph Samuel and Fannie B. Lee Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Redding McLamb. Mrs. McLamb worked at the Benson Shirt Factory and was a homemaker. She was also a member of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church. Surviving include Daughter, Mary Catherine Howard  of Benson; Sons & Daughters-In-Law, Wilton Ray & Peggy McLamb, Graylon & Nelda McLamb, Curtis & Linda McLamb, and Dennis Earl McLamb all of Benson; Sister-In-Law, Ruth Allen of New York; Eight Grandchildren, Sixteen Great Grandchildren, and several Nieces & Nephews. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Sunday.
