Angier, NC: Mr. Dakota Dan Messer, age 33, of County Line Road passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Bobby Caudle. Burial will follow in the Lamm-Sugg Family Cemetery.
Dakota was born on February 27, 1987 in Johnston County to Deborrah H. Messer of Angier and the late Danny Messer. He worked for Stone Truck Parts as a service technician.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Kelly C. Messer of Angier; daughter, Danielle Messer of West Virginia; maternal grandmother, Betty Jo Ryals of Dunn; brother, Derek Messer and wife, Christina of Angier; nieces, Kennedy Messer, Kenley Messer, and Baby Girl Messer due in November; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his loving Caudle Family.
The family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Randy and Pamela Caudle 2270 Bailey’s Crossroads Road Coats, NC 27521.
In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. If you are attending the service on Wednesday a mask is required inside the chapel.
