Dannie Wood

Mr. Dannie Lee Wood, age 67, of 371 Strickland's Crossroads Rd died Wednesday at his residence. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM, Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Pauline Baptist Church in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Freddy Langston and Mr. Bud Williams. Burial will follow in the Pauline Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Wood was born January 21, 1946 in Johnston County to the late Hershel and Josephine Hines Wood. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dan; brothers, Glenn Wood and Barber Wood. Mr. Wood was a retired electrician and owned and operated Wood's Precision Electrical Company and was a US Navy veteran. Surviving include Wife of 35 years, Paula M. Wood of Four Oaks; Daughter and Son-In-Law, Danielle W. and Jimmy Findley of Durbin, West Virginia; Son, Shawn Wood of Four Oaks; Granddaughters, Joelle and Liberty Whittemore; Grandson, Brian Hickman; Sister-In-Law, Joyce P. Wood of Four Oaks; Nieces, Tammie W. Barbour, Melissa W. Powell both of Four Oaks; Nephew, Jason Wood of Four Oaks. Family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
