Danny Ray McLamb

Four Oaks: Mr. Danny Ray McLamb, age 64, of Kenan Road passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held 3:00PM, Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Revs Jesse Brock, Glenn McCullen and John Book, Sr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC.

Mr. McLamb was born July 1, 1957 to the late Leon and Alene Blackmon McLamb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Allen Rayvon McLamb, sister Linda Sue Johnson, father-in-law Raymond Noles and mother-in law Naomi Noles.
Mr. McLamb was a simple small town southern man. He worked on the family farm until the age of 20, where he then left farm life and went to work for Kelly Springfield Tire and Rubber Company, which later became Goodyear, retiring after 34 years of service. He was a Christian man who loved to share his love for the Lord with everyone; a proud member and past deacon at Burnell Baptist Church of Four Oaks. He was a masonic lodge member and past master at Relief Lodge #431 in Benson. Mr. McLamb enjoyed gathering with family and friends, and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. He loved spending time in his home away from home at Surf City.

Surviving includes his wife of 45 years, Connie Noles McLamb; daughter Monica McLamb of Four Oaks and partner, Kenny Raynor of Benson; daughter Danette Lee and husband, Brandon of Benson; precious grandchildren, Daniel Hardison, Hannah Hardison, Morgan Lee and Aubrey Lee; brother Glenn McLamb and wife, Kay of Benson; many special nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive friends from 1:00PM-3:00PM, Sunday, July 18, 2021, prior to service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Danette and Brandon Lee 31 Tarheel Road, Benson, NC 27504.

Flowers are welcomed, however; memorials may be made to the following: Burnell Baptist Church 643 Shade Tree Road Benson NC 27504 and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
