Danny Penny

Angier, NC: Mr. Danny Ray Penny, age 62, of 1778 Massengill Pond Road, died Monday at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation in Benson.  Memorial service will be 3:00PM-Thursday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Brother Timothy Dean.  Mr. Penny was born June 10, 1953 in Harnett County to the late Hubert Raeford and Mary Edna Capps Penny.  Mr. Penny retired from the heating and air business and also was a retired trucker. Surviving are wife of  24 years, Emily Wilkins Penny; children, Shane Penny of Erwin; Belinda Stuart of Willow Spring; Jeffrey Penny of Fuquay Varina and Shannon Pope of Coats; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Holton of Cary; and Connie Barr of Florence, SC; brothers, Earl Penny of Benson and Don Penny of Knightdale; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2:00PM to 2:45PM- Thursday prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
