David Ellis Bragg

Smithfield, NC: Mr. David Ellis Bragg, age 80, of 85 Sallie Drive, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Transitions Hospice in Raleigh, NC. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 11, 2021 at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson. Officiating will be ­­­­Pastor Eddie White.

Mr. Bragg was born August 26, 1940 in Latrobe, West Virginia to the late Albert Ellis and Anthelia Jane Burns Bragg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Vance Bragg, daughter, Kathy Lynn Bragg, son-in-law, Robert Eugene Isom, and sisters, Olivia Atkins and Cora Arthur, brother, James Ray Bragg. Mr. Bragg was a retired heavy equipment operator with the United Mine Workers of America. He enjoyed collecting knives.
Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Isom of Benson; granddaughter, Rachel Radford and husband, Christopher of Benson; great-grandson, Aydin Radford; sisters, Betty Reagan and Josephine Wilson, brothers, Teddy Bragg, Tommy Bragg and Michael Bragg; many nieces and nephews.
