David Roy Denning

Benson, NC:  Mr. David Roy Denning, age 64, of Maplewood Drive died Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at his residence. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Johnson  Memorial Church outside Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Brandon Teachey. Burial will follow in Bethel Church Cemetery, Angier, NC.           Mr. Denning was born June 3, 1955 in Harnett County to Glenda Pope Denning of Dunn and the late Lundy Thomas Denning.  He was a sales associate with  B.J. Wholesale and attended Johnson Memorial Church.           Surviving in addition to his mother, include daughter and son-in-law, Erin D. and Michael Clark of Benson; grandchildren, Abigail Clark and Zachary Clark; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dudley Thomas and Umica Denning of Benson and Darwin Daye and Mary Denning of Coats; several nieces and nephews           The family will receive friends 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, Sunday, September 8, 2019 prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of Erin and Michael Clark, 936 County Line Road, Benson, NC 27504.           Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.           Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.roseandgraham.com           Announcements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
