David John Hanzl

Fuquay-Varina, NC: Mr. David John Hanzl, age 75, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. The family will be holding private services at a later date.

Mr. Hanzl was born on September 24, 1945 in Colplay Leigh County, Pennsylvania to the late Rupert and Stella Keppel Hanzl. He was preceded in death by his brother and sisters. Mr. Hanzl served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a retired mechanic.

Surviving include his wife of 39 years, Jane L. Hanzl of Allentown, PA; daughters, Brittany Kauffman of husband, Dennis of Fuquay-Varina, Lindsay Hanzl of Allentown, PA; sisters, Betty McCarthy of Allentown, PA and Barbara Fenstermaker of Hilton Head, SC; several nieces and nephews.
