David Pilkington

Dunn, NC: Mr. David Andrew Pilkington, age 54, of 1419 Savannah Hill Road died Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Long Branch Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Dunn. Officiating will be Rev. Phillip Newton and Rev. Mike Oldham.  Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Church Cemetery in Benson.             Mr. Pilkington was born April 26, 1957 in Johnston County to Corine Surcey Pilkington of Benson and the late George Pilkington. He served in the U. S. Navy, worked at Caterpillar in Sanford and was a member of Long Branch PFWB Church.             Surviving, in addition to his mother, include Wife, Ellen Vann Pilkington; Sons & Daughters-in-Law, Daniel & Crystal Wilson of Dunn and Anthony & Sharon Wilson of Fuquay Varina; Sisters, Paula Kennison of Black Mountain, NC and Arlene McHone of Benson; Brothers, George Pilkington of Sanford, Larry McLamb of Benson and Dennis Pilkington of Pikeville;  and 7 Grandchildren.             Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, February 17, 2012.
