David Strickland

Coats, NC: Mr. David Vernon Strickland, age 77, died Friday, July 27, 2012 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn. Mr. Strickland was born December 2, 1934 in Sampson County to the late Matthew and Mattie Honeycutt Strickland. He was also preceded in death by wife, Lilma Gray Ivey Strickland; siblings, Jeanette Strickland Byrd Thomas, Cecil Strickland, Colwell Strickland, Lounette Strickland Clifton. Mr. Strickland retired from Erwin Mills in the textiles business. Surviving include Sister-In-Law, Nancy Strickland of Erwin; Nieces and Nephews, Sharon Beasley, Pam Addison, Shelia Allen, Diane Johnson, Buck Strickland, Marty Byrd, Hal Lloyd Byrd, Jr.; Several Cousins.
