Diana Lee Allen

Benson, NC:  Ms. Diana Lee Allen, age 40,  died Tuesday, January 15, 2019.  Funeral Service will be  2:00PM, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson.  Officiating will be Rev. Adrian Dixon.  Burial will follow at Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn.             Ms. Allen was born August 10, 1978 in Johnston County to the late Jimmy Wayne Allen and Pansy Lenelle Blackmon Tarver of Midway.  She graduated from Campbell University with a Chemistry degree and previously worked as a chemist for Telecris.             Surviving in addition to her mother are daughter, Layla Michelle Allen; brother, Atlas Wayne Allen of Erwin; sisters, Tessa "Sylvia" Meyer McKnight of Louisburg, TN, Tara "Ashley" Mildred Meyer-Barre of Autryville, Jamie Lynn Slaughter and husband, Terrance of Princeton; maternal grandmother, Ernesdeen Wood Blackmon; six nieces and four nephews.             The family will receive friends 12:30PM - 1:30PM, Saturday, January 19, 2019, prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mrs. Ernesdeen Wood Blackmon.
