Coats: Mr. Dick Curtis, age 91, died Sunday at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Thursday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. Randy Beasley and Keith Bonner. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.Mr. Curtis was born in Washington, DC, on March 26, 1926. He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnne "Joey" McLamb Curtis; and brothers-in-law, Sammy McLamb, Billy Ray McLamb, Thelton McLamb, and Keither McLamb. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II and was a member of American Legion Banner Post 109. He was a machinist.Survivors are brother-in-law & spouse, Kenneth & Billie McLamb of Newton Grove; sisters-in-law, Jean Naylor of Fayetteville, Jean McLamb of Roanoke Rapids, and Willa McLamb of Four Oaks; and several nieces & nephews.Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 10:00AM to 10:45AM Thursday prior to the service.Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to the SECU Hospice House, P.
