Donald Lynn Clayton

Angier, NC Mr. Donald Lynn Clayton, age 72, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at his residence. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Bethel Church Cemetery, Angier, NC.  Dr  Paul Rowland will officiate  

Mr. Clayton was born on October 8, 1951 in Harnett County, NC to the late James William and Royaline Parrish Clayton.  He was also preceded in death by his siblings, James Robin Clayton, Dixie Clayton Johnson, Carlie Clayton, and Neta Clayton Johnson.   Mr. Clayton owned and operated Donald Clayton Drywall.  He attended Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church.  He loved gospel bluegrass music, and was the leader of True Friends Bluegrass Band.

Survivors include his siblings, Joyce Clayton Coats, Larry Clayton and wife, Carolyn, and Wilma Clayton Stone; many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Bethel Church Cemetery and other times at the home.
