Dunn, NC:  Mrs. Doris Mae Byrd, age 81, of 108 Pine Street died Friday, September 23, 2011, at her residence. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Monday, September 26, 2011, at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. Jerome Pope and Wesley Hamilton. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery, Dunn. Mrs. Byrd was born August 18, 1930 in Harnett County to the late Jerry Norman and Alice Mae Faircloth Coats. She was preceded in death by her first Husband, William Henry Moore; Granddaughter, Tabitha Dawn Moore; and Siblings, Corbet Coats, James Coats, Margie McLeod, Mavis Morgan, Marie Lee, and Louise White; a daughter-in-law, Annie Holland Moore. Mrs. Byrd was a homemaker and member of Christian Chapel Church. Surviving include her Husband, Bobby Byrd; Children & Spouses, Sammy Moore of Dunn, Priscilla & Wayne McKenize of Dunn, Tim Moore of Benson, and Ronnie Edward Moore of Godwin; Brother & Sister-In-Law, Dwight & Tenny Coats of Durham; Sister & Brother-In-Law, Gloria & Roy Norris of Erwin; Brother-in-Law, Robert Morgan of Dunn; Five Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren, and One Great Great Granddaughter. Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Sunday, September 25, 2011, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
